A monitoring plan is an essential part of a grazing plan, and is a feedback mechanism that will provide you with information on what’s
going on in your pastures, both from climate and ecological factors as well as management decisions. A good monitoring system will
alert you to failure before it is too late and will record successful grazing strategies.
